Four of my photographs were included in the GMHC Art Show ART & AIDS: Loving Life at the Leslie/Lohman Gay Art Foundation. This was the first time I ever had any of my photos publicly exhibited.
The entire process was very exciting: From the moment I decided to submit my photos, through the process of getting them ready, helping to hang the exhibit, attending the ridiculously busy opening reception which brought a lot of energy but also felt a bit like work, to having my friends see the show on opening night and during the week, to the very first sale of one of my photos (The Stone Arch Bridge - thank you Sally!). It was all a lot of fun and I'm looking forward to the next GMHC Art Show, probably late spring or early summer 2011.
thanx for visiting today
